Using our mission statement:  “Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World”, as our guide, we continue to support our existing ministries found in our new brochure.  Please check it out at the Connection Center or our Website.

Most days of the week have an offering, some days more than one. Some groups study, some socialize, some serve the world. Thank you to those of you who have chosen to get connected and thank you to our leaders who have answered God’s call.

We are off to a healthy start and we welcome new participants, new leadership and new ideas for groups. Please pray about making a connection a priority!

Save the date: Our Fun Fund Raiser will be Saturday, January 28, 2017, 5:00 – 7:00 pm
at the Point location.

Join us for Dinner, a Variety Show and Silent Auction. Save your good stuff, practice for the show, and plan to share a meal together . . . celebrating God’s goodness!

We have very recently accepted an invitation from a soon to be Eagle Scout from Trinity Lutheran Church who was looking for a home to host one of his “Little Free Pantry” structures (his Eagle Scout Project). Targeted for mid November, another “life giving” structure on our campus will be welcoming folks in need. We will all have opportunities to share in this blessing by helping to keep the shelves stocked! We will have a shelving unit in the office that will become our pantry to work from. A suggested list of items will follow soon.

Fall Fest Pic 1

On Sunday, September 18, the annual Fall Fest was held at the Point location. The weather was perfect and the event was a huge success. Outreach would like to thank all of our church members and friends who helped to make this happen. We had 26 baskets donated for the raffle. The United Methodist Men again provided good food. Missions and Women in Action had pie and ice cream as well. All of our committees hosted an activity and there was a wide variety to choose from. Ron Shave and John Francis took people for rides in military trucks. Jason White and the Scouts had a Rain Gutter Regatta. Pastor Howard offered to get splattered in the Water Balloon Launch. Glen Fink took care of our electrical needs. Ernie and Matt Taylor handled our PA system for the entertainment and John Schultz was our Emcee.  Again, thank you all.

MORE WAYS TO WELCOME NEW PEOPLE

Make a good first impression:
Care for your building and grounds as a way of honoring your attendees and honoring God.  A well-cared-for building demonstrates a commitment to excellence and communicates that what the church does is important

Have clear exterior and interior signage that guides visitors everywhere they need to go

Make sure your restrooms are neat and clean
